Lusatia Park at Woori Yallock in the upper Yarra Valley is considered one of Australia's top style Single Vineyards. With a unique site, soil and climate, this legacy vineyard is ideal for producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of exceptional quality. 'Lusatia' has been hand cultivated with a minimalistic approach by vigneron Steve Webber. VINEYARD
Lusatia B Block, Woori Yallock, Yarra Valley. TASTING NOTE Medium red. Beautifully aromatic, ethereal and gorgeous red currant flavours. Supple perfumed aromas, gentle texture, layers of red and dark fruits, silky tannins. WINEMAKING Hand-picked and hand-sorted. Fermented in wooden 5T Cuves. 15-20% whole bunch, the balance destemmed. 5-6 pigeage and a similar number of remontage over 18-20 days. Matured in new and used 228L casks for 11 months, and given a further 3 months on fine lees in vat before bottling. WINE ANALYSIS Alc/Vol: 13.5% CELLARING 5 - 10 years in a good cellar.
